Music

Last.fm

Pandora

Rhapsody

SoundCloud

notes about these : .fm is the extension. there is no .com because it is not a company, no .org because it is not a organization, no .biz because it is not that kind of business, and no .net because it is not a contained network. https:// is a secured html coding, it is important to include the 's' and, just like angelfire, it is probably necessary to exclude the 'www.'

pandora, rhapsody, and iHeartRadio are mainstream because people never even picked up "internet for Dummies" and they never figured it out. using this stuff and less popular web-browsers intermittantly helps your internet run smoother, btw. (someday, i will figure out the "why's" of this mechanism). .au and almost every other developed country on the internet already knows these things, whether they know it or not... (how do you think the EU has gotten in better shape in many ways so quickly? ...SO, why am *I* the one who cannot find former friends, colleagues, etc.?!?!?!... 'just a thought. maybe switching off facecase would make yer life a little better...

Networking

after myspace I decided enough was enough so I refused to continue with getting on new "social networking" sites because they were more of an antithesis of a network to me, from my perspective. Kinda like how the first "SMART" technology kinda messed almost everyone up from the get-go.

Friendster

MySpace

LinkedIn

YouthNoise

Last.FM (see above in "Music")

Free E-Mail that isn't as mainstream

JUNO (hosted by google, but is not google/gmail)

Rocketmail (when signing up, you have to use the dropdown to choose rocketmail, this is yahoo!)

Mail.com (same as above, this is hotmail/msn)

{there's a plethora of others like riseup.com , but I'm not plugging them because I personally have had worse time with those, even though I have all my base covered with them.}
